I guess that this is not going to be a very popular album. After all, people do not usually like creepers. Neither did I before coming to Costa Rica. But I am slowly changing my mind.
Partly because there are some really fascinating bugs around here. In some cases, it is clear what the function of their particular shape is – to confuse predators-. But in some others….like the bug below with extremely long antennas, I have no idea. And this is intriguing.
Partly because there are REALLY big bugs here….
Plus, there is a myriad of wonderful butterflies. So I have decided to start paying attention and taking photos of them. This is just the start, with a compilation of new but mostly previous photos of the critters that we have seen…thus so far.
