More Fallas

Today, I went into Valencia to see more of the Fallas, that is of the ones one can find all over town. Rather than just the spectacular ones in the inner city. Many quarters have one, often of moderate size, but definitely very much worth the while. I just wandered from the Cabanyal train station towards the harbor, further towards and through the center and continued a bit more. Here are some impressions, not just of the statues, but also of what else is part of the celebrations: the Fallas competitions, the party tents, the fireworks, the flower displays, the churros and porras, the crowds, the scarfs, the traditional clothes and the spring blossoms. Do scroll down to also see the videos of a small parade and the daytime fireworks at the central square / Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
